Returning to Church!

Planning to Return to Church

After what seems like so many months, there seems to be light at the end of the tunnel and we’re planning to reopen the church.  It won’t happen immediately – tentatively we’re looking at mid-September but even that is not certain yet.  In preparation for returning to church, there are some issues we all need to consider.

A message from Pastor Rob and Sîan

The video message below has been recorded by Pastor Rob and Sîan; please take a few minutes to watch.

A Practical Guide

What will Church look like?

Whatever church does look like when we reopen, it certainly won’t be the same as when we last met.  This short document highlights some of the changes you’ll encounter when you attend church for the first time.

What Next?

Over the next couple of weeks, you’ll be contacted by a member of the leadership team to give you an opportunity to discuss this information and ask any questions you may have.

Following on from this, in mid-August a survey will be published on the website and a link added to this page.  The purpose of the survey is to help us understand what you want to do about attending church so we can provide the facilities and support you need.

Our every aim is to provide a safe environment for people to come together in worship and fellowship. As Pastor Rob mentioned in the video, that may mean we have to restrict the number of people in the church at any one time. The responses from the survey will help us understand whether this will be an issue and the best way to manage it so no-one misses out.

What’s happening to Zoom?

We understand that some people may not be able to return to church or may have already decided they do not wish to return to church.   We are planning to migrate the Sunday morning Zoom sessions to the church.  You’ll connect via Zoom as you have been over these months and you will see what’s happening in the church.  You’ll see and be seen by the congregation, you’ll hear and see the songs played and you’ll be able to contribute to the service yourself. We will maintain this facility for as long as it is required.

How and where will I find further information?

Please keep your eye on this page – you’ll be told when updates are added but we don’t want you to miss anything important.

If you have any immediate questions, please contact one of the leadership team (Pastor Rob, Mike, Marilyn, Chris or Robert) or use the Contact Us form.
